A Sad day in SF. Ace was a friendly spot, to meet friends, watch some racing on the tube, shoot some pool, admire the many moto related items. Cant forget the stripper pole or In case of emergency loaner helmets. Across from the Armory building, Rob transformed this funky abandoned bar into something really cool. Definitely had the British pub sort of feel. Cant forget to mention the cool bartenders that have passed through here, Abby, Mia, Liz... Always good to have some grub if youve been drinking a lot. That was covered by the kitchen in back. A few cooks keeping the masses happy through the years, Eric handling the final days duties and was slammed, half hour backlog at one point. Abby and Liz were trying to keep up with beer orders, It was a huge crowd Felt like a Giant fan at one point(Torture)as my pint glass was dry, and felt invisible to the gals. Finally got Liz attention, The fellow next to me felt my pain, paid for my pint! Hoping Rob will find a new spot soon.
